The Becker campaign sent out a press release today about Becker's grassroots campaigning door to door around the city -- and they've covered just about every bit of it. Apparently Buhler is getting desperate if he's going to go negative on Becker's environmental record -- or perhaps he's just hoping that people will take it at face value and not look deeper.

I got my vote by mail ballot yesterday. I did have one reader tell me that the vote by mail method has some major problems.

I'm not quite sure what the best way to vote is these days. I know that the Diebold machines also have major problems, not the least of which is no open access code so that they can be independently verified to not be throwing ( Read more... )

There's usually not a lot of interest in primary elections, but the top 3 candidates for SLC mayor are running literally neck and neck. Remember when Curtis won by just 12 votes last year? I have a feeling that the two that emerge from today's votes will win by just a handfull.
